About me
My name is Zenzy, I'm a 22-year-old illustrator, graduated from St Joost School of Art & Design in Breda (NL) in 2021. At the moment I'm a parttime freelance illustrator and motion designer, and fulltime Master's student of Art History at Utrecht University. Most of my freelance work consists of designing posters, screenprints, digital prints, and vector animations.
I work both digitally and analog, though since I got my iPad two years ago it's been mostly digital. I've been drawing digitally since I was 11, starting with my parents' signature pad and working my way up to my own digital drawing tablet. Suffice it to say I have some years of experience! I almost exclusively use Procreate to illustrate, though I have some years of experience with Adobe Photoshop. For graphic design I use Adobe Illustrator and InDesign and for motion design and animation I use After Effects. My inspiration comes from streetwear and Black culture, my life as a student, and (art) history.
When I'm not drawing, I dance, or I'm probably stuck in a train somewhere between Eindhoven, Utrecht, and The Hague...
This website is for both commissions and personal projects, but the more "casual" works usually end up on my Instagram. You can find a link to it in the top corner of my homepage!
